Counselor in Training (C.I.T. ) Program

Complete registration here! 2017 CIT Application

Counselor In Training program for those entering 9th and 10th grade. Program focuses on Leadership Development through assisting and leading with the camp program activities. Includes Counselor training and direct supervision of children. CIT tuition is 50% of camper tuition.

Camp Location

Reformed Church of New Paltz, 92 Huguenot Street, New Paltz, NY

We have use of the church, the education building, the playground, and the surrounding fields! We have easy access to the Rail Trail and the New Paltz Botanical Gardens & Bird Sanctuary!


There will be no busing to Camp Wiltmeet. Drop off and pick up only.

Ages & Villages

New York State -Entering Kindergarten and 1st Grade; ratio 1:7
Hudson – Entering 2nd and 3rd grades; ratio 1:9

Hodenoshone – Entering 4th and 5th grades; ratio 1:10
Appalachian – Entering 6th and 7th grades; ratio 1:12

Adirondacks – Entering 8th grade; ratio 1:12


Activities include teamwork, cooperative games, group projects, sports, drama, arts & crafts, foursquare, nature, newspaper, gardening, dance, swimming (3x a week), yearbook and SO MUCH MORE!


The campers are bused to Moriello Pool in New Paltz on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of each week.

On Monday and Friday mornings, we share the space with the New Paltz swim team. On Wednesday afternoons, we share the space with the public. To ensure the highest safety of our campers, we hold buddy checks every 15 minutes while at the pool.
