Our goal at Camp Wiltmeet is to develop healthy campers through active play.  We strongly encourage creativity through interactions with our community.  Our camp provides children with the opportunities for new experiences.

 

WHO IS CAMP FOR

(Ages & Villages)

New York State -Entering Kindergarten and 1st Grade; ratio 1:7
Hudson – Entering 2nd and 3rd grades; ratio 1:9

Hodenoshone – Entering 4th and 5th grades; ratio 1:10
Appalachian – Entering 6th and 7th grades; ratio 1:12

Adirondacks – Entering 8th grade; ratio 1:12

 

WHEN IS CAMP?

Camp is open from 9am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday.  Pre-camp care is available beginning at 7:30am and post camp care is available until 6:00pm.  There are four-two week sessions available and one-one week session for 2019.

Session 1: June 29 – July 10

Session 2: July 13 – 24

Session 3: July 27 – August 7

Session 4: August 10 – 21

FINANCIAL AID

Financial Aid is available on a first come, first served bases by filling out our Financial Aid Application by March 15, 2020. NOTE: 2019 completed taxes, 2018 W2s or three months of most recent pay stubs must be submitted with your application by March 15, 2020.

WHY COME TO CAMP?

Our goal is to develop healthy campers through active play.  We strongly encourage creativity through interactions with our community.  Wiltmeet provides children with the opportunities for new experiences.

 

Activities include team building, cooperative games, group projects, sports, drama, arts & crafts, foursquare, nature walks, gardening, dance, swimming and so much more!  Campers enjoy special guests and FIELD TRIPS!

 

(Please note the final week of camp, we will have no classroom access, therefore villages will be redistributed within the available space)

LOCATION

Lenape Elementary School, 1 Eugene L Brown Drive, New Paltz, NY

We have use of classrooms for each village, the gym, cafeteria, outdoor playing fields, playground and amphitheater!

Counselor in Training (C.I.T. ) Program

Counselor In Training program for those entering 9th and 10th grade. Program focuses on Leadership Development through assisting and leading with the camp program activities. Includes Counselor training and direct supervision of children.
