PHILOSOPHY
YMCA Child Care philosophy is to deliver
a program in a positive YMCA environment of safety and care that
will allow the children the opportunity to interact socially and
participate in a variety of interesting non-academic activities.
STAFF, SAFETY and QUALITY PROGRAMMING
We strive to provide the best
quality child for the Kingston and surrounding areas of Ulster County
by keeping our standards at the highest level. All of our staff
follow the NYS/OCFS regulations for child care with Fingerprint
and State Registry clearances, background checks & monthly trainings.
Our staff focus on creative programming and small group activities
to ensure positive group dynamics. We focus on the YMCA core values
of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility that helps build
self esteem, leadership and teamwork for all. We hold true that
all children have individual needs and goals and we are proud to
meet those each day at the YMCA School's Out Program.
