It Costs More To Keep Them Home!
For Only $.63 per hour YMCA Camp Shawangunk can provide your children a summer to remember! That’s $5.71 per day, $28.55 per week, $200.00 for the entire summer! If they stay home, they’ll eat more than that at breakfast. And with so many activities, friends and trips it’s not just fun, it’s a tremendous value.

If you don’t reside in the Town of Wawarsing – don’t worry! Your child is welcome at Camp Shawangunk. We offer a great value to non-resisdents also, just $2.10 per hour ($700.00 for the whole summer) gets your child in on all the action for the summer.

Don’t worry, just like we know how hard it is to juggle everything for the summer, we also know how difficult it can be to pay for it. We have implemented many programs to make sure going to camp doesn’t break the budget.

Summer Scholars—50% discount for those children adding an educational component to their summer mornings.

  • Payment Plan—With only a $35.00 deposit you can secure your child’s place at camp and pay as you can with payment in full due by May 31st
  • DSS—May be able to assist with tuition if you work while your child is at camp
  • Relatives As Caregivers—Raising a child of a family member? Cornell Cooperative Extension may help with camp tuition for these families.
  • With Gift Certificates, Scholarships and Fund Raisers we will ensure any child who wants to go to Camp will go to Camp regardless of parental income. (Verification Required)
