Family Feild Day/ OPEN HOUSE

Location & Facility
Camp Wiltmeet will be held at Epworth Camp and Retreat Center in High Falls. The site contains hiking trails, athletic fields, gymnasium, high and low ropes challenge courses, a pool, waterfront activities, basketball courts, and a small farming component.

BEFORE CAMP & AFTER CAMP CARE- Held ONLY at the New Paltz Community center.. Supervision will be provided at the YMCA in Kingston for $68.00 per or $48.00 if only using a.m. or p.m. session. Must be paid by May 31st.

Bussing
Starting this summer busing will be provided throughout the Southern Ulster area. There will be 4 bus route starting in Highland, Gardner, New Paltz and Kerhonksen. There will be several pickup/drop off stops along the way.

Poineer -K and 1st grades ratio 1:7
Hudson 2nd and 3rd grades ratio 1:9
Mohonk- 4th and 5th grades ratio 1:10
Ranger- 6th - 7th grades ratio1:12
Adrinodacks - 8th grade ratio 1:12
Ask about our LIT Program for 8th graders and CIT Program for 9th and 10th graders

L.I.T. PROGRAM
Leadership In Training program for those 9 & 10 grader. Program focuses on training in camper supervision. C.I.T.'s selected by interview process based upon previous experience and leadership potential. Program fee of $400- must complete 2 session and must attend training

C.I.T. PROGRAM
Counselor In Training program for those 11th grades. Program focuses on Leadership Development through assisting and leading with the camp program activities. Includes Counselor training and direct supervision of children. Candidates primarily chosen from the previous C.I.T. staff, although those with applicable experiences can apply

Activities
Activities include teamwork, cooperative games, group projects, sports, drama, arts & crafts, foursquare, bocce ball, spelunking, high and low rope challenge course, hiking, nature, fishing, newspaper, gardening, dance, daily swimming, yearbook and so much more!

Sessions 1-4:
$335 per session per child

Financial Assistance Application (pdf)
Effective November 1, 2009, all financial assistance applicants interested in assistance for a YMCA program, must first submit an application for Childcare Assistance with Ulster County Department of Social Services (D.S.S.). Once an application has been submitted with D.S.S, they will process your application. Within 30 days, D.S.S. will notify you if you’ve been approved for childcare assistance for after school or camp. You will receive a written notification on their decision
